柳原新聞店は、静岡県浜松市を拠点に事業展開をしている約2万件の顧客を持つ(2011年時点)新聞配達店です。お客様が暮らしに必要な新聞店、情報流通業としての可能性をつねに考え、徹底した顧客対応と文化交流点としてのm‘s倶楽部や有機野菜の宅配ファーブルなど、既存の新聞配達業の枠、そして業界自身の抱える課題を超えてゆく、卓越した個別対応の配達と顧客コミュニケーションをおこなっています。それを支えているのは、ひとり一人の社員が自律的に顧客の事を考え、経営に参画意識を生み出す述語的な企業文化の環境をつくっているためです。さらに今後は、新聞業界の変化に対して、配達という自らの基盤を革新する、ホスピタリティ流通システムを構築しようとする試みを進められています。これらの取組みの評価を認定の規準に照らし合わせた結果、中小企業の一取組みには終わらない、本質的な先進性が認定の理由となりました。
Yanagihara Shinbunten, the provider and distributor of Newspapers having about 20,000 customers, is located in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. They think of themselves as the distributor of information, trying to expand the possibility of making customers’ lives easier. They have unique customized communication with customers that surpasses the existing concept of Newspaper distribution: making a communicational club called “M’s club”, or having a system of the distribution of organic vegetables called ‘Fable’. These services are based on the idea that each staff member should think of themselves ‘as’ the customers' in order to realize their needs and participate in management. The company itself has the atmosphere to make that possible, and for the future, they are adjusting themselves to an ever changing Newspaper industry, and creating a method of distribution using the idea of hospitality.
